FAST TRACK TO AESTHETICS – FOR COMPLETE BEGINNERS

Theory Component
Approximately 154 hours dedicated to in-depth home study and assessments covering:

• Anatomy and Physiology (Levels 3 & 4): A thorough exploration of human body systems, including the circulatory, respiratory, musculoskeletal, integumentary, lymphatic, digestive, urinary, reproductive, endocrine, nervous, and olfactory systems. This knowledge is fundamental for understanding the physiological impacts of aesthetic treatments.
• Infection Control: Detailed instruction on maintaining a sterile environment, understanding cross-contamination, and implementing protocols to prevent infections, thereby ensuring client safety.
• Safety in Medicine: Education on medical ethics, patient confidentiality, and the safe administration of treatments, including understanding contraindications and managing emergencies.
• First Aid: Training in basic life support protocols, wound management, and emergency response to ensure preparedness for any unforeseen situations during practice.
• Client Consultation: How to perform client consultations and assess contraindications.
• Complications Management: Strategies to identify, manage, and prevent potential complications arising from aesthetic procedures, ensuring practitioners can respond effectively to adverse events.

Practical Component
A total of 24 hours (3 full days) of hands-on practical training covering:

• Microneedling: Techniques to promote skin rejuvenation through controlled micro-injuries, enhancing product absorption and stimulating collagen production.
• Dermaplaning: Methods to exfoliate the skin and remove vellus hair, resulting in a smoother complexion.
• Chemical Peels: Application of chemical solutions to exfoliate and improve skin texture and tone.
• Foundation Anti-Wrinkle Injections: Administration of botulinum toxin in three key areas—forehead, crow’s feet, and frown lines—to reduce the appearance of wrinkles.

• Foundation Dermal Fillers: Techniques for augmenting lips and addressing nasolabial folds and marionette lines to restore facial volume and contour. This also includes Filler Dissolving procedures to safely dissolve hyaluronic acid-based fillers using hyaluronidase, essential for correcting overfilling or addressing complications.
